Job Responsibility:
- Technical knowledge: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and testing equipment.
- Safety awareness: A strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and the ability to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Physical ability: The capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.
- Communication: Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with other personnel.
- Troubleshooting ability: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix complex issues.
- Diagnosis and troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving electrical problems using specialized tools like ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Repair and replacement: Fixing or replacing faulty wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Preventive maintenance: Performing routine inspections to identify potential issues and conducting scheduled maintenance to prevent system failures.
- Installation: Installing new electrical systems, fixtures, and components as needed.
- Code compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Travels for onsite repairs and installations.
