Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Zeiss and/or Leica microscopy systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of optical, mechanical, and basic electronics troubleshooting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for field service.
Job Responsibility:
1. Installation & Commissioning:
- Perform the installation of neuro surgery related systems at client sites, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and integration into the clinical environment.
- Verify that the equipment operates according to specifications and regulatory standards.
- Provide on-site training for users on proper handling, features, and maintenance procedures.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Offer remote and on-site technical support to resolve issues related to neuro surgery, including hardware, software.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to neuro microscope systems, performing repairs when necessary.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for complex issues that require escalated support.
3. Preventive Maintenance & Calibration:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration on neuro surgery related systems and ensure optimal performance.
- Schedule and conduct regular service visits according to customer contracts or maintenance agreements.
4. Repairs & Upgrades:
- Identify faulty components and perform repairs or component replacements in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct system upgrades and retrofits as needed to enhance system performance or incorporate new technologies.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and providing advice on system optimization.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding service progress, issues, and expected timelines for resolution.
- Provide detailed service reports and documentation of all repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance performed.
6. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure that all activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
7. Training & Knowledge Sharing:
- Conduct training sessions for hospital or clinic staff on the operation, maintenance, and safety features of neuro microscopes.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neuro microscope technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Share knowledge and provide support to peers and junior engineers as required.
